Hey there,

I didn't realize it's been over a month since I've wrote.

I haven't been putting out much work lately, partly beacuse I'm too anxious for the SLR I might be getting for my birthday! It's the Nikon D3100; not a pro camera, but it sounds like a great starter camera.  There are so many things that I can do on an SLR that I just can't do on my current point-and-shoot, although my point-and-shoot is still pretty nice.

I've been playing with Photoshop Elements lately and I just learned how to blur the background like an SLR does.  

Maybe I'll have more work soon, maybe I won't.  I have mid-year exams coming up, so no photos are to be expected in that time.

And thanks to those people who check out my page; it lets me know that people care about my work.

Well hi there.

Since my last journal entry was from around August, I feel that it's time for a new one.

As you've noticed, I've just been putting up a mash of random stuff up here, editing them and what not.  I haven't been out to take 200 pictures at once like I usually do.  

Hopefully, I'll be getting Photoshop Elements 9 for Christmas.  Depending on how the program is, maybe my pictures will be a little more edited, and perhaps better. That's for you to decide.

I feel that all of my edited pictures have too much of a dramatic tone to them, so I'm going to try and stop using the vignette setting and stop making my pictures dark.  

Any input on my editing? I feel that it's gotten better, but I truly can't know because there are many perspectives on one picture.

Hey there people,

So it's been a while since since I've posted anything new, and that was mainly because I didn't have anywhere good to take pictures...

But today, I went into Boston with my aunt and uncle and sister, and there were quite a bit of places to take pictures.  I'll probably be posting two or three.

And with school just around the corner, that means life as I know it will be consumed with work and all other things that make your life a little more miserable; but luckily, the foliage will be coming in about a month and a half or so. But I'm thinking too far ahead!

By the way, I reached over 1,000 upload views!! I know that doesn't seem like much, but it's interesting to know that someone, somewhere, likes my work.

This journal was way longer than I expected, so it ends now. Bye...

Hey there,

So I just uploaded a bunch of pictures from the Paramore Concert, which was awesome by the way!!!! I had amazing seats, got a free tattoo, and jammed out to Paramore; can't ask for a better night!

Anyways, I left the pictures unedited, because I felt funny editing these specific pictures.

And I've come to realize summer's so close to being over! D:

But I don't want to leave on a sad note, so here's a .

I don't have any new ideas for future photography, but maybe I'll have more edited stuff up, we'll see.
